Wow, it sure has been a while since I blogged back in September about Emma Grace, now she is a chunky monkey and is still being enjoyed by everyone in the family!
Lets see, right after EG was born like I think 2 weeks later I was off to Mayfield for a girls weekend and first time to drive that far alone! I went to a scrapbooking retreat and didnt even take a picture! Sorry. But I had tons of fun. That night that I came home, my madre was home from a 4 week trip overseas, I had mixed emotions on her being home haha! It was pretty nice having the house to myself being just my dad and I were home.
October came in with a BANG! First my parents were off to Vegas then we were off to Ole Miss 2 days after they got back. Can u say Crazy?
Halloween was very fun with the littuins but it was so COLD!
Ok folks thats all for tonight

Emma Grace
Sweet Emma Grace arrived Thursday afternoon at 4:34, I think:). She weighed 7 pounds and 5 ounces. I missed her birth :( but that was made up by being the 3rd person to hold her! These pics are, the banner I made for her baby shower that we had a couple of weeks ago, Emma Grace and I last night, and Emma in her so so cute bow today. I spent my entire afternoon with the new fam and enjoyed baby Emma since the seniors didnt have school today because we got back from DC last night and everyone is getting back from "N'Oleans" or New Orleans late tonight. She is precious, super cute and much smaller than we thought she would be lol!
Congrats Jen, Alex and Welcome Emma Grace to the Blane Family

Blogging
Hi if you are here from Kelly's Korner, welcome! One of my tips about blogging is remember to update your blog and I also like to make 2 blog lists like I have done on my blog! I'm sorta new to blogging and need some help with pictures, do you have any recommendations? I sure hope you do for me! Also scroll down and read some other posts and let me know how my writing is!
So my questions for y'all are!
-How do you find topics for post?
-How do you find a fast/ easy way to upload pics? ( Is there one)
-What do you think about my writing/ journal?
Tips
-Remember to update often
-Have 2 or more blog columns one for family/ close friend and one for friends/ people you really don't know and maybe a recipe/ savings one!
Enjoy!

OMG
Or......
O My Georgia!
On Saturday, I spent the morning and early afternoon with my favorite almost 1 YEAR OLD, Georgia! I thought I was going to have Charlie also, so I had planned for us to do tons of fun things like go to the Farmers Market downtown since it was Saturday and then go to the Public Library for story time. But Georgia and I only did the Farmers Market. Then we came back home, I tried with no success to get her down for a nap so we just played! Here are some pics!
The one above is so my fav! It was her climbing under the coffee table and it was so cute! I just love that smile!
This is her sweet mommas favorite! I posted all of these on facebook and out of all she liked this one the best, the one below!
I dont know if I have told yall how much I LOVE this family! I have been through the up and downs with their little boy, he has hit me, kicked me, and even cussed at me but they still "invite" or "ask" me back to babysit! We do have our breaks like after we got back from Palm Island I didnt hear from them for about 2 or 3 weeks and during the winter they didnt need a sitter for about 2 months! But I love my Grays lol!
These 2 are GA playing on her activity table and on the floor! She loves to play!
Have A Great Week!

There were a few days that this was not followed! On Tuesday, Robert and Justin went to try to get a BOAT for us to go out on! No luck but, we all went Wednesday and got a boat and went to Cabbage Key, where Jimmy Buffett was inspired/ wrote Cheeseburger In Paradise! That was a lot of fun! On Thursday it was sorta rainy that we didnt even make it to the beach! Instead we went to Bocca Grande, an upscale shopping community! It was alot of fun and we had the greatest PIZZA their before we went shopping! Virginia found the cutest romper, I found some really cute flip flops and Kristi got some dresses!
On the last day, we layed out at the pool because it was way to rough to the beach plus it was really windy! Also on the last day I got to jump off a bridge! Yes a bridge, when I told my mom I was doing it I think she panicked lol! But, jumping off that bridge is 1 of the things I remember from Palm Island! If you were to go to PI and jump off the bridge, heres some tips!
-Do it during high tide, thats usually during late afternoons
-Make sure little ones wear life jackets, although I can swim and once you do, you can touch the bottom but Charlie who is 4 had to wear a life jacket!
-Dont jump toward the end of the bridge, as I said I could touch near the end of the bridge so jump toward the middle!
-Dont throw your back out like Justin! It does hurt, I almost needed some advil and im 17 so Justin did something to his back, and all I can say is TGF Virginia!
-Last but not least is HAVE FUN!
On our last day here it was travel day! We had a plane leaving at 5 pm from Sarasota but, on our way to the airport we received a call saying we would not leave Charlotte until 9:40! We spent the morning cleaning up and packing around the condo then Virginia and Kristi, Robert and Justin, and the kids headed down to the beach for pictures, guess how happy those guys were about that lol (I had to chase Charlie around the house to get him dressed.) :)
After pictures we were out! We decided to go eat lunch and that almost made us miss our plane to Charlotte which ended up not being late but we did have to sit on the plane for about 40 min!
I had a wonderful time and could of stayed another week with the girls! These girls were so much fun, we stayed up late talking and had lots of fun! Thanks for taking me!

The 4th
Palm Island Day 1&2
I Know
I Know!!!!!!
I have not posted since what, JUNE? Would you like to know why? Well I have been super busy in June and the first of July! I went to Florida twice, once you already know about as I was blogging on the I-Pad then I was home for like 2 or 3 weeks and left again to go to Florida again with a family to babysit! We went to a part of Florida I have never been to and I was wondering if any of yall have! We went to Palm Island, FL it is near Sarasota and Bocca Grande Florida and I must say I had a great time even though I was keeping the kids lol. :)
On the first day we had a 6 AM flight out of Nash so I spent the night before with the "Grays", the people I babysit for who are super nice and that worked out because my parents were out of town and I was staying with my cousin who had a wedding. So that 3 AM from Virginia sure did come early but I had gone to bed super duper early at like 8:30 which for me is very early haha! So I had awaken at 2:45 ish and could not go back to sleep ugh :( but, I guess it was good to be able to wake up for 15 min before to have to get ready for the day lol! So I got ready, finished some last min. packing and realized that I had no contact solution, so VA to the rescue, she thankfully let me borrow some of hers :) After I got dressed I got Georgia up and dressed then we were on the road. We were not out of 42240 before we had to stop... C had to throw up... ugh traveling with children under 5 :) We made it to Nash and I slept the entire first plane ride and talked to Justin for about 5 min before knocking out :) In Charlotte we had breakfast, Bee and I were starving as we walked bye the cinnabun place in the airport! Once in Sarasota we got our cars and headed to my fav. Grocery, PUBLIX! Wow with 7.5 people there, we had a lot of junk we picked out to total almost $400.00 for 6 days! When we got to our house, we unloaded the kids, I stayed upstairs with GA, Maddie and a little bit of Charlie while the adults unloaded the bags (ahh how I love being the sitter lol.) :) Most of us hit the beach while I tried to put Georgia down for a nap with no luck so, Virginia tried and she and GA fell asleep :) We stayed out on the beach for about 2 hours and that felt like um 30 min and it might of even been 3 hours! Im telling you the girls were so right when telling me the time goes so SLOW around here! The adults went out to dinner and left me with the kids......
THAT WAS AN ADVENTURE (with lots of calls to mommy Virginia and daddy Robert) but, atleast Maddie and Georgia were good:)
Now for some info about Palm Island... From ME!
Palm Island is an all golf cart community... LOVE! We had two 4 person golf carts but, in Bocca Grande, I saw the perfect golf cart for us... AN 8 PERSON GOLF CART!
According to Jusin or Kristi it is golf cart because the bridge blew down and the people decided not to rebuild it because they thought it would keep it more secluded and D*MN they were right, we were their on the 4th and there was prob um around 200 to 300 people their. Now thats my kinda place, why? Well its close to things like shopping, eating, and boating! These things are only a short ferry ride away, and if you have kids, they will love the ferry! If you have teens, let them loose in the golf cart on the island come on thats what Justins dad did, yeah they have been coming here his whole life:) On the Island their is 1 store called the 'general store' that is attached to the one place to eat plus an ice cream shop! The general store has the cutest cover ups and hats from this brand called bag lady by mud pie.
The people on Palm Island are so NICE! They wave to everyone! I really didnt get a chance to explore the Island but GA and I went on a walk one day, and one of the thing I will remember forever hopefully, is that.. I jumped off a bridge! More about that later:)
Now to Day 2
Happy 4th Of July
Yes we were on the beach for the forth and I have some great pictures of the fireworks to prove it! But, let me go ahead and start off with the morning!
On the morning of day 2 we all woke up on our own, Kristi didnt feel so good the night before so she and Justin were the first to come home;) Since it was a holiday, the restaurant on the Island had a buffet breakfast, so we had to hit that up since they only had it on weekends:) We went to eat a wonderful breakfast and shop around a bit then let the kids play on the playground up at the resort. The Island has like a little resort where the restaurant is and they have "rentals" that are weekly I believe. :)
We came back but, GA fell asleep on the golf cart ride back so Robert stayed with her while we all went down to the beach. That afternoon the guys headed to the grocery to get fireworks, baby food (yes, we forgot babyfood on sunday lol) and steaks and stuff for dinner. I must say that dinner was great sadly we had no air so we were all dying from heat! But thankfully during the firework show, the airman showed up to fix it, he was our lifesaver that night lol. The firework show was awesome! I would love to show yall some of my pics but, our macs photo library isnt working along with us when we want it to. :(
I will try to get some of Virginias pictures to share with yall!

It's been...
A WHILE! As I sit here on my I pad ( so expect spelling errors lol) on my way from Florida to Atlanta and I can not remember the last time I have blogged, I looked at the last post before I started this one and it was before lent!
I sometimes tell myself why are you still even blogging? Well one day when I really get into the hoops of blogging I hope to make my blog I to a book! Does that sound crazy because right know I don't even know I'd I have any readers out there reading my blog but it's therapeutic for me to blog sometimes :)
Let's start off with January! That month seemed long! Let's see my pare ts left on december 30th and the 1st my grandfather went into the emergency room so that was hectic ;) then on the 15th we had a cousins wedding where I got the flu for the entire week after! So that's all that happened in between family visiting and birthdays in January.
FEb was lots of snow days and a trip to richmond Kentucky with my mom to see the boys basketball play!
I'll catch y'all up on pics and more months later
